    Hi Sten,
My problem is about the density of my concentration. When I give complete attention to any thing, even hard problem, I can easily solve those or remember those thing, but when I don’t give my maximum attention or focused fully as my capability, I can’t solve those problems or remember. My conentration density can rise to at my top level, but this mode cannot persist for much more duration. I can easily under stand event, problem, things by numerical explanation, but not as languistic explanation. Please help me to give such tips about the enrichment for holding pick concentration density for long duration.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Sandip.

  6. swami virabhadrananda Says:

Though I could not go through it all due to my being busy for a few days after which I will through it, I thought of answering you as a matter of appreciation and courtsey. This is really good. But you will have to give us some solid demo methods where students could really sit and work out exercises of diferent types , as they do in Gymasium to work out muscles, inaddittion to theories. These will form the activity part of the personality development program we do for students. They want something practical which will be academical and sport like, to avoid monotony. My appreciations for it. As it is for students community and our services given freely to them, I being a Monk. it would be good if you could provide free download of some such games for memory sharpening. Thanks and good wishes. for Stefen

  14. Afroz Fathima Says:

Thanks for making me understand that every one has a good memory. As such i could not remember the incidents happened yesterday, the problem lies in the loss of concentration and attention paid to things/events happening. I have to work on my self improvement.

  15. abigail anquandah Says:

My problem is that i can’t memorize easily without the understanding of a particular context. What else can i do in a situation where i need to make conscious to commit something into memory for example lecture notes in a handout.

  16. abigail anquandah Says:

I probably perceive an answer like ’seek the understanding of context then’ in my first question but i mean the situation where the lecturer demands that you quote exactly what is in the book or u need to quote to gain your marks. Explaining in your own words will at that point in time not earn strong marks. What do u do then?

  17. TK Says:

I came across your website while I was looking for memory power articles. I am recovering from anuersym. I find it difficult with remembering things especially with names and events. I also cannot recall my past events. What can I do to improve my overall memory?

  18. Terry Says:

What really pleased me and caught my full attention was the fact that you
are a William Walker Atkinson fan. I own the book ‘Raja Yoga’ which he wrote under the pseudonym Yogi Ramacharaka. That book has changed my life, and the way I think about my mind. I have started a fledgling blog here: mindmatters.tk and would love to link to your site.

  19. Terry Says:

Memory, attention, concentration and mental processing are all inextricably entwined and dependant upon one another. You cannot train one aspect of your mind without affecting the others. The wonderful thing about training your mind is the cumulative effect; if you train your mind on a consistent and regular basis, even if it is just a moderate training, you are guaranteed results. Just do it!

Sten, I read the first report you sent about the planets. It was great. I applied the concept to memorizing the Periodic Table of the Elements and memorized them all in just two days. 33. Octavio Almeida Says:

I’m reading your memory book: in your chapters on ‘how to…’ there are too many stories, too many examples, but too few instructions, or concrete steps on how to do it.
    Besides, your link http://youcantbeatme.com/improveyourmemory/namegame
    only gives an error message:
The target url was invalid. Please contact the publisher to get it fixed.

    Thank you,

  38. alim asanov Says:

SORRY FOR HAVING DONE IT LATE.

  39. AMKCH Says:

I’ve read some of it but haven’t finished it all. I get really bad migrains that put me to bed. Is it a wonder I forget something immediately after I’ve either read or heard it? We have yet to find the trigger. We are hoping your writing will help us. My husband could have just gone to the store, and I would get up to say something to him and wonder where he went. Someone would have just said something to me, and I would forget what they just said….

He, one time, was driving my truck, and on the way home, while still a few houses away, he looked in our driveway and wondered where the truck was! then he remembered he was driving it! This type of thing is getting worse for us. What’s happening?

  40. Fred Kornegay Says:

Thanks for the memory information,I shall try all of your techniques and stay away from all those pills for memory,Fred

  41. Mohammad Asad Says:

I read your report..I have to say that report is nothing short of an information tsunami (not in a destructive way lol). I seriously loved it. The techniques seem foolproof, if done correctly. Thank you! :)
I am almost half way through the report. I’d have to say at start I wasn’t so motivated, but when I got to read it more, It was something that just kept me going and going and it is my third day of the read, and I am half way through. I love to read this now.
I am a really big fan of meditation and hypnosis and similar stuff, and now I will refer this report to everyone close to me, but I have to admit:
I AM SURPRISED THAT THIS IS FREE INFORMATION! It is really beautiful and worth paying for. I had been trying to improve my memory for a long time, but man I think I’ve made more progress with this in a span of two days..at least I understand more now. Can’t thank you enough for this..Sadly, I am only 15 and I dont have a credit card..if I had, you could’ve expected a kind donation from my side.
    Thank you again. :)
(PS: i was really embarrased at the start when i couldnt even remember what i did last week on that specific day hehe..now I feel better after going through this report)

    Thank you, K

  44. Philip Collinson Says:

    Dear Sten,

I take a very keen interest in memory systems and have read pretty extensively on the subject. As a Christian minister, it helps me tremendously to learn as much of the Scriptures as I can, off by heart.
Among other passages, I have been able to commit to memory the whole book of 150 Psalms.

The best method of all, which I find works well for me is to turn every word into a person - ie a 3 dimensional figure - and place each person in a certain place - often in a memory palace using the rooms of my house and using 5 particular places in each room. I also have a story about each psalm which is linkied to the people I ‘create’. I can then visually see what I want to remember. It’s a little like going for a walk and saying afterwards: ‘I saw Mr A and then MRs B etc etc.” It needs constant review and work but my memory muscle seems to improve as time goes on.

I find it so exciting, but there is hardly any of my friends who take an interest! My mentors are Tony Buzan, Kevin Trudeau & best of all, Dominic O’Brien. I also found your report interesting.

Your free report came to my Junk Mail and I am unable to open it. Could you send it to the address above somehow. I am not that familiar with how the mail system works - hopefully someone there can figure it out so I can get it in my regular mail.

  52. Maryann Says:

Hi, a little background. My mother had Alzheimers when no one actually knew much about it. We are talking about in the early 80’s. She was in a nursing home for 11 years before she finally died at 74. I used to worry about it, but not so much anymore. The truth is, I am a teacher and teach special education kids to read and do their classwork. Many have memory problems, and I was fishing for some tips that I do not already use. Get this, I can remember birthdays of people I went to grade school with, high school, and casual acquaintances. I always hope they do not tell me their birthday because it becomes engraved in my brain. Someone said maybe it was because the Lions Club used to sell calendars and if you paid a quarter for each person in the family, they got their name on the calendar. I remember their birthdays, as well as birthday parties I went to. So, Whatever the secret is, I’m using it too. It is knowing how to retrieve info from the correct file folder in your brain. I have to learn to teach this to my students and be successful like you. :)

  53. Dr Steve Smith Says:

Since reading your paper yesterday, I am already remembering more details about everyday life, names and so on than I did. But more than this, I find myself enjoying life even more. Something like taking time to smell the flowers, enjoying the moment and so on. Thank you!

  57. Joe Walsh Says:

    Greetings Sten,

Thank you for your email and encouragement. I stumbled onto your website at: http://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Memorize-The-Bible&id=139967

I am meeting weekly with a couple of men and we had decided to memorize Psalm 20. Just 9 verses. Our ages are 35, 56, 67. I’ll let you guess as to which one I am. No, move to the right! I sent the link above to the others to encourage in this memorizing assignment. I suspect the youngest should have little difficulty. He is full of energy and sharp as a whip!

When I followed the links at the bottom of the Internet article it led me to your memory course. And so, I am wanting to see how it may help those of us in the more senior category.

I like Mohammad Asad’s expression: “information tsunami”. It was a lot to take in. I kept wanting the article to speed up and specifically show me where to sign-up … eventually i arrived there. Thanks much! ~ Joe Walsh, Publisher, Lead Editor, CCNews Portal

I found the report quite interesting and useful.

    Thanks.

  60. Susanna Says:

I have a very low computation speed. I did an IQ test and in this section I scored 96 (the lowest I’ve gotten). Im not sure whether this will help. I think that I am a little to carefull so that when i answer questions i like to check and recheck. Maybe it would improve if my memory was better - it may help me to build confidence.

  61. Bob Harwood Says:

I signed up for the memory information but all I have received is a statemet saying I have been charged $19.95 from Clkbank and a four page email from you telling me what I would get (2 pages) and two pages of more ads for items you are selling. When will I be getting the memory information you were going to send?

  62. Sten Says:

    Bob,

I’ve sent you an email with the download link.

    Take care.

    Sten
